Chapter 1.4

After knocking down the old foundations and spending the last of their money on remodelling their house into a bigger one, the Ethereals were finally beginning to have the large family home Jeana had always dreamed about.

But they ran into a few problems... namely the one where they didn't have enough money to finish the house.

But instead of panicking, as most normally would, the family made the most of what they had and reassured themselves money would be coming in shortly.

Luckily the children didn't seem to oppose to the new structure, and treated the place like they would any home - by kicking, crying, and screaming the place down.

And seeing as the house lacked walls separating all of the rooms, Jeana's luxury of a few nights of good sleep was cut short, as the crying bounced from wall to wall, straight into Jeana's ears, and she often spent her nights lying awake trying to sleep.

But the few uncomfortable nights eventually paid off, because Jeana got yet another promotion and was able to refurbish her entire home. With more walls!

And the pay rise also meant that a small family celebration for the girls' birthdays was in order!
